A stunning sunset to round off a South Devon Wedding
Working and living in South Devon is an absolute dream for weddings. Lou and David’s big day started with wedding preps in Ivybridge. Followed by a beautiful service at St Johns Church, Ivybridge. Shortly after the service Lou and David made their way to the breath taking Bantham Bash site to a stunning marquee provided by the wonderful Hatch Marquees, Devon. The Bantham bash field is located just outside of Thurlestone and has the most glorious uninterrupted views down the valley towards Bantham Beach.
The field was decorated by large festival style flags and the interior of the marquee crowned in flowers. Every detail was covered including a beautiful cake made by a close friend.
Having waited for such a long time to get married due to COVID and many date changes later we were so happy to see Lou and David get married. The weather didn’t disappoint either, wall to wall sunshine and we even got a sunset. With quick trip to South Milton Sands for some sea air it was the perfect tonic. and backdrop. It’s lovely to see peoples reactions when they see a bride and groom and the community of Thurlestone seemed very excited to see them. What a wonderful day for showcasing a stunning Devon Wedding.
