A wonderful wedding in Rattery, Devon
Emily and Tony a match made in Devon. When Emily first contacted us in the depths of covid her wedding plans sounded like heaven! Valentine’s Day is such a special day and with a wedding planned we couldn’t of been more excited. Emily has deep family connections in Devon and she chose to get married at St Mary’s Rattery Church followed by a rustic relaxed wedding breakfast at The Church House Inn, Rattery. The morning of the wedding there was great anticipation and excitement with the girls getting ready the beautiful nearby Knowle Farm. The weather held for us and despite it being windy it was a lovely day. With the girls ready and the boys having had a quick drink at the Church House Inn it was time to say “I DO”. The flowers in the church were incredible and expertly designed by Lindsey Johns flower designs of West Alvington. During the service there was a special surprise as Emily and Tony’s little one was also christened during the ceremony. After the ceremony it was confetti all round with wide smiles and joy in their steps Emily and Tony made there way to their wedding breakfast at The church House Inn. The Church House Inn has a large modern Oak framed dinning area which can accommodate a wedding reception with ease. The rustic oak and stylish decor makes for a wonderful backdrop. Tables designed and styled by Sarah the landlords better half and right hand women. Sarah has a keen eye for detail and the pub was looking absolutely gorgeous. Champagne flowed and guests were merry. The food was sublime - we were lucky enough to be treated to dinner! The wedding cake was also made by the head chef at the pub which was a macaron tower cake - delicious is an understatement! Thank you Emily and Tony for being so fabulous!
Thankyou Lucy and Jim
